It’s been awhile since I’ve posted any model sheets and I was going through some folders and found these tucked away. I forgot I scanned these. The first model sheet of Yosemite Sam is really appealing, especially when compared to the one on the bottom. I also uploaded Sam’s first appearance, the Freleng short “Hare Trigger”. This is one of my favorite Freleng shorts.

“Hare Trigger” is an amazing cartoon. Probably my favorite of Friz’s. I mean, he lifts Bugs right up on top of the train and starts to beat the shit out of Bugs! How many other characters would do that?! Sam’s grown on me lately more than he used to (as has Tweety).Congratulations!! Glad you were able to name your son after Tex..;)

Wow, A bouncin’ baby boy!! Congrats Kev! I would send you a cigar to celebrate the occasion, but the internet hasn’t properly perfected the technology to send smokes through fiber-optic cable just yet. Besides, I think it wouldn’t be a good idea smokin’ a stogie around a baby anyway. In the words of Bugs Bunny in this cartoon: “It stinks”. Speakin’ of which, that’s one of my top favorite gags & Mel Blanc readings ever. Gets me every time!Anyway, my most heartfelt congratualtions to you & your family!
